About Us
Millridge of Bryn Mawr is a condominium community consisting of 120 units of mixed housing that physically spans both Haverford and Radnor townships. Many of our new residents are inspired to move to the Millridge community after visiting family and friends here or attending an event hosted by a resident at our Manor House.
The community is set on 30 acres of land bordered by woods which we share with local wildlife – hawks, owls, deer, foxes, chipmunks, squirrels and a variety of songbirds among them. In addition, we have a meadow protected by township law and beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers throughout the grounds. The grounds are professionally maintained.
The centerpiece of the community is the Manor House built in 1927 for John Jacobs, Sr., the owner of the property at that time, and was originally christened Casa Mia. Today the Manor House is our version of a clubhouse. It is the site for events and parties arranged by our Social Committee, for programs presented by our Education Committee and for the many private affairs hosted by individual residents. Guests and residents alike never fail to be impressed by the beauty and grandeur of the house.
Residents also enjoy socializing at our in-ground pool from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Besides swimming, residents enjoy reading, playing cards or board games and just getting to know one another poolside.
Millridge is just over 9 miles from the historical, cultural and business center of Philadelphia so residents can enjoy the city as well as all the advantages of living on the Main Line. We are located in the Radnor School District, which is known for academic excellence, and are close to Bryn Mawr Hospital which is part of the Main Line Health System.
